I need some help? I was thinking about trying to convert a 94 5.2l ram with a 36rh automatic tranny to the ram 1500 manual tranny, I'm not sure witch transmission is compatible with the engine I have? I think its the nv5000 but I'm not sure. I was wondering if anyone has done this, because I'm sick of the 36rh tranny problems and would rather have a manual. Would I need to replace the ecu? And what parts other than the tranny itself would I need? Thanks for the info.

The sticker under the hood will tell you which transmission you have. It's right on the bottom of the hood.

I know I have the 36rh Tranny but what I need to know is what tranny would be the manual for the 1500 ram? Is the lenght of the tranny longer or shorter? Will I need a different transfercase? But I really what it to be a stick. So I will do what it takes, and post any info I get.
