I just got a used 2001 Pathfinder. Is it true that the only way to open the rear window is by turning the key to the right in the rear door? When I do this to open the window, all of the doors lock. Is this normal or something wrong?

It is true. On my 2001 I have to turn key to right to open window. I haven't heard of your problem with the doors locking, but would suspect some sort of short. Window will not open with doors locked. If you have keyless entry make sure you are not pressing the lock button on your keyfob when operating.

My 2001 locks all the doors if I open the rear window with the key, too. I figured they have it do this on purpose, although I can't imagine what the purpose is!
