has anyone heard of the vanquish s! i read about it earlier this month in evo uk! because the db9 is only 10bhp less than the flagship they felt they had to make a larger a gap between them. they have upped the bhp by 60bhp to 520bhp and torque is now upto an all time high of 424lb/ft.(aint sure why its so low concidering the db7 gt had 430lb/ft???) aston say the cars 50-70mph time will drop by 2 seconds! aesthetic changes include modified nose, revised rear styling and new wheel desings. the interior is going to be upgraded taking cues from the db9 interior with more leather covering instead of the plastic of current. it will be available very shortly and first models will be shown to proposed customers next month. it is more like a build on the vanquish sports dynamic pack. enjoy!

The update to the V12 Vanquish is well planned. While the speculation from EVO Magazine is probably right for the most part I have also heard of a power boost greater than 60bhp which would be interesting. The V12 Vanquish is a truly awesome machine and soon it will be even better!

The new Vanquish S (which is one of fav cars) would become a big competitor for Ferrari to manage. It is faster and swifter than the original Vanquish (which was cool enough anyway) with added bodykits. Boasting such enormous power, it would eat alive many Jap sports cars. I would prefer a Vanquish over a Lambo...

The Vanquish S doesn't have a bodykit.

The exterior changes are quite subtle; a splitter at the front to improve aerodynamic stability, a more rounded and open grille for better cooling and a redesigned boot lid to give better downforce. The drag co-efficient has thus been improved slightly from 0.33 to 0.32.

Also, the Vanquish S interior has some differences from the original car. The central etched glass and backlit starter button is straight from the DB9. The centre console is now covered in leather instead of being painted.

Am I the only one who thinks the Vanquish S has a horrible interior for such an expensive car? It seems like Aston designed the exterior, which is wonderful, and Ford designed the interior.

the vanquish s (my fav car)has already got the looks and the interior and some power now it been updated with more power but they could still put more power in and make it more of a competitor to ferrari and what not:rofl:
