My wifes ride, iwas just lucky enough to knock the wheels off. (she wasn't impressed with the 85 corolla i replaced it with)! now i'm gonna attempt to pull the stock 1.6L(carbuerated)& tranny to replace the blown 2.0 from the celica.

I have an 85 GT-s and it has 285,000 Its a lot, i know. The engine runs fine, I have no problems, except that It takes 2 cranks sometimes to start.

I barely broke 4000 miles on my 2004 GT a few days ago. I know no one cares since its 7th gen

about 191,000 on my '84 GT's engine. Thing runs as strong as it ever has. I just drive it slower than it's capable of. I want to make sure the engine doesn't explode first.

160K+ miles on my 84 GT. Runs a lil rough but 22Rs never ran that smooth anyways and it's partly due to the exhuast leak near my O2 sensor :disappoin

377,000 on my 1985 Celica. But I just blew a head gasket, so I am trying to rebuild w/ new rings, rod bearings & timing chain.

I'm not sure what else one would call it. The Haynes manual has a section entitled "Timing chain cover - removal and replacement". It's certainly a chain that has an upper and lower bright link to align with the marks on the camshaft sprocket and the crankshaft sprocket.

Mine just turned 200,000 - it's an '82 with the original motor (but another used tranny). It won't hold the 5th gear, but in Seattle rush hour traffic, that's hardly a handicap.
