I've had my 90 celica for 4 years. It has over 200,000 miles now but in the past 2 years has gone through 3 sets of wheel bearings in the front passenger side wheel. I called the Toyota dealer after the first time they had to be replaced and was told that I would have to buy a whole new hub assembly *which is what I have done the past 2 times because I can get them cheap at the salvage yard* because the wheel bearings have to be pressed in with a special press at the toyota factory. This sounds like BS to me so I thought I would ask here if it is possible to press your own bearings in this car.

you will most likely have to press them in, but any mechanic shop should have a press, and wheel bearings are what let the wheels spin on the axle, they keep your car rolling
