dude, whats that noisewapiti64 08-20-2004, 11:54 PM I bought my truck a year and a half ago and have since aquired a knocking in the right front wheel area. It sounds like a u joint about to blow out, I have had the seller put a new axel in the right front, this is a 4x4 truck so I think it might be something to do with it. I've paid over 200.00 in three diferrant shops and no one can figure it out(or they don't want to). It starts out at about 10mph and is very noisy, after you reach higher speeds you can still hear it. Anyone with any help on this would be great, also a price guideline on fixing it please. wapiti64 08-20-2004, 11:56 PM troubling noise with the right front end of my truck. please help SpitAndDirt 08-21-2004, 08:58 PM Front wheel bearing? Warped rotor? Improper alignment? Loose upper control arm bushing? Bad ball joints? On your 95 any of these things may cause a knocking noise, although the wheel bearing and the Axle would be the only two that would cause a repeated knock that increases with speed. There is also the possibility that the front transfer case has a problem internally and is transferring the noise to the right front area of your truck. -Chris vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
