headlight question

i was wondering if anyone else has had a problem with one of their brights being out. i ahve a 97 civic and my drivers side bright doesnt work and before anyone says check the bulb ive switched them and such and still nothing. i figure its jsut a wiring thing but i was wonder if anyone else had a similar problem

Try the fuses.

could it really be the fuses if its only 1 side?

got a helms manual? if not go to your local parts store and pick one up, it's 15$, but it'll get a hell of alot more than 15$ worth of help when it comes to working on your car....

helms manual is about 60 bucks. I think you mean the haynes manual right? Haynes manual isnt the best and detailed manual but still, ANY problem I have had on my car, the haynes manual has been able to save me.

I have a Haynes, I would recommend it to you. Some things are not as detailed as sageuvagony said, but you still get some pictures in there and instructions.

Chiltons are the best for pictures and has a good to do list. Never has failed me once.

some fuses are R/HL and L/HL specific. just open your fuse box and check. i would go check mine but i lost it...
