Hi people, I live in New Zealand and have access to RB30e engines that came out in the pre R32 Skylines and VL Holden Commodores, but were never available in the US. If you're wanting huge (affordable) performance from your Skyine, please read on.

It seems the RB30 is not very well known in the USA so for those of you who are not familliar with this engine... In New Zealand some people are running the STOCK RB30 block (rebuilt-of course with 3mm metal head gasket) with the RB25DE head (twincam, NON turbo) and manifolds, with big turbo setups and getting much more power than very expensive RB26 setups. The RB30 is proving itself to be an awesome performer when matched with the twincam head and a whopping great turbo. Basically it is your average RB series block but with a longer stroke to give the bigger displacement.

I'm looking into supplying the US with stock standard RB30 shortblocks, ready for you to have rebuilt (rings/bearings etc), and matched up with whatever head/manifold/turbo setup you want. I can provide the info required to run this block with the twincam head as there are a few small tricks to know - different manifold options, turbo oil feed, oilway restriction etc.

At the moment it looks like i would be able to supply the shortblocks (block/pistons/rods/crank etc) to individuals for around US$400 plus shipping costs - will know these costs in a day or two.

This is a surefire way to get big, reliable, easy horsepower into your Skyline.

Please let me know if you are interested, cheers folks

Well Gene 3 things.

#1. They won't get more hp than the RB26. The support craddle isn't as strong, nor do they have the oil squirters the turbo motors have to help cool the pistons.

#2. There are NOT that many Skylines in the states.

#3. You are advertising as a business there for need consent to do so, of which you DON'T have. Soooooooo in saying that until you do you can't advertise.
