my friend just bought this for $2000, it had a blown headgasket, but the guy gave him 2 heads, another motor, and a turbo, good deal, no?

the motor is the 1M-GTE, is this a fast motor? is this a fast car? how hard is it to replace a headgasket on a supra? does it take long?

ok i'm assuming this is a 7Mgte lol, yes they can be fast without major mods, they are a quick street car from the factory for its age... it doesn't take a lot to tickle them up... a head gasket can be done somewhat easily but you have to make sure the head and block get checked by your local reputable engine reconditioner for warpage cracks etc...
if you're not experienced in this i would suggest getting a good mechanic to do it for you... you can get it all done in 3 days if you have all the parts on hand but generally i think with stripping down the engine.. finding required parts, assembly and in the car could take a week or so

and even tho i'm not from your side of the world i would say hell yes that is a good deal ;)

anyone else?
