87 Mustang 302 HO engine specs

I am looking for some engine specs for my car. According to the vin# i have a HO 302 in my car. I wanted to know what things are different on my engine than a regular 302. What makes it a HO. What size is my factory T-body and so on?? Please help

Factory throttle body is 65mm

A HO 302 is different ways.The HO 302 has a roller cam.Also has a 351w fireing order.The HO 302 also has a 50oz balance on the crank shaft(the standard 302 has 28oz).So you cant inter change flyweels,cranks,or balancers. Also the HO 302 has a reverse flow water pump.

dont' know the exact specs but the h.o. makes a bit mroe power than earlier models. from 86 till 92 they made:
225 HP@ 5500
300 TQ@ 3200
not sure about the HP RPM but that's pretty close. i think the earliest fox-bodies with 302s made soemthing like 180 horse....

I'm glad you told me this ,because i am was going to put a new crank and bearings in soon . oil preasure is low after engine reaches operating temp. the balancer wobbles bad at idle. i was going to change the balancer too, just to be sure the problem was fixed . i ll have to rework my prices thanks alot

So my throttle body is already a 65mm? i ve heard alot of people put a 70mm t-body and go back to the 65mm. any advice?

I think the 87s had a 60mm Throttle body
