Buy A Honda Civic?

Ok, first off as some of you know a civic was not my first choice for a new car... in fact it wasn't a choice at all, but after finding out that there are not any V6 Solaras around here- for a reasonable price. the Sentra SE, you know those 2000+ Sentras with Nissan's famous SR20 engines, has been almost impossible to find :banghead: and I simplly will not settle for a GXE.

Now I have never ever been a fan of HONDA :uhoh: - let alone CIVICS :nono: - the only car that I would ever think of owning would be the S2000 :naughty: (I live in the US) so the NSX is under Acura(I have complete respect for Acura). And yes I know that Acura and Honda are pretty much the same company.

But at the time it seams like a good option:
2000 Honda Civic Coupe EX
It has a VTEC- I'm Told That's A Good Thing?!
Moonroof
Alloy Wheels
47000 Miles
For $11,866

I won't pay full price for a car- so price doesn't bother me too much

Anyway I know that people don't like civics, too much, but if I buy this car and decide to modify it, is there a way to not make it "Riced Out?" I know not to add huge mufflers (FART PIPES) and retarted stickers ("NOS," "powered by HONDA," "VTEC" ect.) And I know not to add Neon lights and huge ass 50 feet tall spoilers that do nothing but would I still be concidered a ricer or my car?

Just leave the outside of it stock and modify what's under the hood, no one can call you a ricer then.

uh neon tastefully done isn't rice. Just get a underbody kit and call it a day.

haha 50 foot spoilers would actually be pretty funny, it would be like those bumper cars that have the poles running up to the ceiling for power at the carnival.

Except on a civic, you'd be tapping into power lines over the road and frying your rice haha

There is no such thing as a ricer car, only a ricer driver that fucks up perfectly fine cars

By the way a Civic is a great choice, with clead body mods, and lots under the hood. Hugest aftermark out there.
