1987 Jimmy 305 ci engine swap

I am swaping motors in my Blazer, the replacement motor is from a van and has AC. should I remove the compressor and the mounting bracket, and switch all the attachments to what was on the original motor? or can I use this new motor as is? please reply soon I need my truck back!! thanks
