Ambition to build a lite weight motor home using several
F22 or F23 engines . 7' wide , 23' long , #3500 MT , #7000GVW
The floor will be flat all the way to the rear doors , as the rear
axle will be a "trailing" arm type ( conceals in the floor ) .
Instead of increasing H.P. by NOX or supercharger , i'll increase
with more displacement , to get better fuel economy .
Steering will simply be different ratio gears driving the rack/pinnion .
Shifting the manual tranny will be a lever that only goes fwd/back.
It's topped by 3 finger knobs . pull a knob and move lever as fast
as needed , no gates to worry about ( except Bill ) .
Ultimately 5th is sacraficed and a granny gear is added on the end
of the tranny .
Short R shaft is replaced w/ a long L shaft to increase wheelbase .
Clutch release bearing is replaced w/ a ball screw type and cam .
It is actuated with a very light wt 1/8" cable wrapped about the release bearing body .
This allows a much lower effort to disengage clutch , since it's all "anti-friction" ball bearing . When it contacts the clutch fingers , it changes
the ratio , to maintain the pressure very low .


No more steel against steel arms that never get
enough lub .
