locking lugnut missing - dealer part?

My locking lugnut tool has been misplaced by the last person who had a wheel off, now I need to know if this is a dealer item or does it have to be special ordered? Are the locking nuts vehicle specific, or will I need my VIN to get a replacement?

Take your car to the dealer so that they can see the pattern on the lugnut and tell them what happened. They can probably get one off the shelf or order one. You may end up having to buy a set of 4.
