I was told by my mechanic that the whine and froth in the ps pump (98 winster) was due to leaking hoses. He quoted $370 cdn for pressure and return hoses, and 3 hrs labour for installation.

I think I can ge the hoses cheaper, but how easy is the job of replacing them?
