WOW. I'm working on the new Tacoma and am actually surprised to see that the pictures have made it out already. We're pretty cautious when it comes to picture taking. I think that's down at R&D.

Anyway, I driven all the new models (12 different variations in all), and actually just got rid of my old doublecab in prep for one of the new ones. I can tell you this, this is a big truck and totally redefined. Nothings the same and and it's pretty powerful (4.0 V6 240 HP). My favorite: the X-Runner. THIS THINGS IS JUST PLAIN WICKED. Just needs bigger rim/tire combo and a functoning hood scoop.

I hope the new X-Runner is underated with the new supercharger. It needs more power to compete with the lightning. And having it intercooled couldn't have been to much to ask. But long live Toyota!

Factory is 240, with supercharger, it should push a little over 300. Add headers and a few other goodies, and you have a Ford competitor. I have driven this thing without the supercharger, IT IS AWESOME! But remember, it's not intended to keep up with the Lightning.
