Hello, I have a 97 4Runner limited and recently purchased a remote from ebay. The original is black while the new one is gray, will this make a difference???
The numbers on the back match and I have tried several combinations of programing but can't get the remote to work.
I hear that their are several different ways to program one. Does anyone have the programing for a 97 4Runner?

I figured it out. No, they won't work! If the color doesn't match the remote won't program to the vehicle.
I finally broke down and purchased a new one. Took 3 seconds to program. No ebay!
