Have bad rattle fron left side of engine. I took off both belts, Start engine, no sound. Put on inner belt( connected to AC commpressor and supercharger ) Sound back, sound worse with air conditioner on. I believe sound is comming from in side supercharger. What would cause it? Any remedies? ANYBODY?

With the belts REMOVED, grab the supercharger pulley with your hand and rotate it back and forth, sometimes if the coupler inside charger is bad enough, you can feel slop when you do this. Also visually check the harmonic balancer and look to see if the rubber that bonds the inner hub to outer ring is cracked all the way around. I would suspect the balancer is what your hearing by your comment about the compressor made it louder. The air compressor would apply more resistance to the balancer than anything else. If the balancer is bad, you'll need a puller to remove, and the crank sensor is directly underneath it, best time to replace sensor as well. Let us know.

In my case it was the sc coupler. It's an after item there is a complete write up on where to buy it and how to change it @ bonnevilleclub.com. The dealer does not sell it nor does magnuson.
