Hey, I'm new so I'm sorry if I'm not following a rule of some sort or something.

I've got a '96 Aspire, and I'm trying to replace the horn, but I'm having trouble finding it, anyone know where it is?

the horn on my 96 aspire just died and i've been trying to figure out the same thing. after 30 minutes of careful under the hood inspection, the only candidate i found on my car is a rectangular box approx 2 inches long 1 inch wide, with a large arrow on top, that is situated in front of the radiator next to the hood release lever. it has wires going to it, too. but it doesn't look like a horn at all!

open the hood and look down, as you face the engine, it's on the left, down by the bumper, almost below it, it's a little speaker looking thing with two wires coming out of it

its in between the bumper and the radiator. on the passander side. that box you were refering to. is the front airbag senser. It sets of the airbag in an accident. Don't think you want to mess with it. my horn didn't work. it turned out to be the horn buttons on the steering wheel. I wired in new buttons and now it works fine.

my horn doesn't work either, i think it is the buttons. how do you replace them (a little wary of setting off the airbag if i remove the cover on the steering wheel).
