I have a ford escort 97 wagon. I had a noice when I used the brakes and I repleced the rotors and the pads. I cleaned everything but the noice is still there.........Have you ever had this kind of problem?

I'm kinda new at this too, but what kind of noise is it? High pitch squeal?
Did you apply high temp. grease to the brake pad backing plates (shims)?
They sell the stuff in little 99 cent packages at the auto part stores.
Just do not get any on the braking surfaces.

I replaced the pads and the rotors. I cleaned everything using breaks cleaner solvent and I used the "blue coating" on the back of the pads. I thinK that the problem could be in the caliper......maybe some dirt in the piston.....have anyone ever clean the piston of the caliper? Any advise?

Elaborate on your "noice". Is it grinding, squealing, rubbing, etc.?

The noise is like squealing. When I just start my car, there is no problem. But after some time of running it, when I apply the breaks (in the middle of the pedal way), the noise appears. It is just in the middle, and it appears and disappears. Any advise?

sounds like your pads just aren't quite fit up to your pistons. Not much you can really do except re-install them again with that blue goo stuff. Don't forget to wait until the goo starts getting sticky and settling into a gel, like its starting to solidify, then put the whole thing back together. I let my pads sit for about 2 hours, when the package said 1/2 hour. My brakes never squealed again.
