how long will a turbo last300zxboy 08-06-2004, 02:08 PM how long will a turbo last as in miles. most people I talk to drive neons and cavs or civics and they have like a millon subs in the trunk a dont have a clue about performance do the bearing go bad after alot of miles or what ??? Hodo 08-06-2004, 04:33 PM Your asking a pretty open ended question.... Some turbos that are on stock engines placed on by the factory, can last up to about 100-150k miles. While some after market high output turbos have been known to fail or start to fail after about 50k-75k miles. It all depends on the engine, the amount of boost being run and the oiling system on it, a few more factors could be thrown in but thats about the jist of it. neogenesis 08-06-2004, 09:14 PM You could... 1) do a search 2) look at your manual 3) kick your self in the ass before somebody else does it ZedEx 08-06-2004, 09:44 PM Yea I like three better... -Wes E Honda 08-08-2004, 05:30 AM You could... 1) do a search 2) look at your manual 3) kick your self in the ass before somebody else does it Wait .......what about # 4)........Come online and hope to get an answer to an honest question in an automotive forum......It took you as long to be an asshole as it would have to answer his question. If you can't help........it's less time consuming to just KEEP YOUR SHITTY RESPONSES to yourself. Thats all I have to say about that. ZedEx 08-08-2004, 05:54 AM Ok ok ok guys calmith down... Both of you have a good point, but lets just let this one die ok? Hodo already answered this question, to what I see as, a good response... So lets just leave it at that please.
