RIIIIGHT, do you guys need pics of MY MAXIMA....this is the second maxima we owned, the first was my dads, i liked his so I got one too, although I have beige interior. And im not bashing a honduh.....technically its slow...i have raced built accords and accords w/prelude motors and beat them in DRAG RACING I have a Granny car, obviously I wont race on a track unless I had modified suspension. Ok now to racing 4 cylinder accords w/mods and me running a single mod seems fair, especially when I only dropped 550 into my mod and can run as much laughing gas as I want cuz the motor is very stout and handles it fine.

I still see no point to your post. It sounds like you have a lot to prove and because of the geographical locations we are both in, it is illogical to continue this pointless post.
The unfortunate thing is, you dont fit the typical mold for an Accord driver and that only makes you look bad...because you have not been lucky enough to discover the magic of the car. Quite frankly, your word bore me so you will have to learn that on your own.

i have both an Accord and a Prelude.


the Accord has more than just "bolt-ons", and is still slow, even compared to the Prelude when i first bought it.

See, what some of you people don't understand is that it isn't all about speed. If it was, then we'd all be riding around in cars specifically geared and marketed as sports cars. It's more about the love of a challenge and finding a car to fit your own personal needs. I have an accord and I originally chose that car because of Honda's reputation as a reliable car. Then, when I decided to fix it up the appearance of the car how I wanted it, my love for the car grew. Now that I have seen a modified Civic beat a Z06 Corvette (my favorite meant-to-be-fast car) on a short track, my appreciation for Hondas grew even more. I've also seen people with RX-7 engines in Suzuki Sidekicks and tow truck engines in Cutlasses run supposed-to-be-fast cars off the road. Just about anything is possible with a little determination. So with all of this said, what is the point of putting down someone else's choice of a car when it was just that, a choice.

Civic VS ZO6 is a dumb comparison....first off you want to compare equal or unequal....stock for stock a civic is a stand still component.....dropping all that money into a civic, do the same to a Corvette....doesnt even have to be a Z06....like turbo civic, turbo vette.....bigger engine will always have more power :D

I did not compare a Z06 Corvette to a Civic. I said I saw a Civic beat a Z06 Corvette (a car that does 0-60 in 4.5 secs and regularly hands certain Ferraris and Porshe 911 Turbos their ass!). That is a feat for any car, let alone a civic. I'm not saying go buy a civic because one of them beat a vette. I was making a point. That point is preference. So what if a stock Maxima is faster than a stock Accord? Do you think that means that Honda failed? The cars weren't meant to be raced. People still buy Accords though. I wonder why.

I dont know why people buy Honda Accords either,

maybe for a reliable boring family sedan I guess.

That is one damn nice accord and that is why I almost bought one....reason for buyign an ACCORD.....well you can get one with 2 doors.....I think the 4 door accord is very ugly......I would take a 4 door max over any v6 accord......of course this is just my preference....

some people like buying honda because its just as reliable as a Nissan and they just like the way it looks better.
