No races anywhere!

I went out crusing just now on route 128 because I know it realy well realy well (used to take it to the indoor archery range when I had time for it) and there are no cops and it is sparsely driven after dark. I went out in search of a first race (wanted it to be from a high roll for the whole FR advantage) no one was biteing! I lined up and guned it a few times with a 325i, 3 stangs (two normal and one GT, all 00' +), and a 2nd gen talon (are the ones with the larger spoiler Tsi?), I thought for shure one of the stangs or the Talon would run with me but noooo. There seem to be ZERO races here in the rich parts of eastern Mass, seems like all the stangs are driven by white haired old men and the deecent DSMs and euro cars by chicks. Maybe on my 2 hour trip to my girlfriends place in Chappaqua NY there'll be some races to be had. None while i'm there because she is paranoid and is a bitch now... it's gonna end soon I know it... she changed (and cheated) but god she's a hot little punk. Just feel like two years being with someone was enough time to get to know them but I guess people change.... :sadwavey:

Yea I know, I keep thinking about that song by the streets called "dry your eyes mate" or something like that. It sucks she was soo good for a year then she cheated I went away to school and she changed, all her friends are kinda weirded out by her now. What sucks the most is that her parents loved me and were rich as hell (and my friends think I'm rich) and her dad loves cars (especially mine :biggrin:).

there will be races eventually, there are plenty out there just like you and me, searching for somone to have a fun little race with.
To add to that, i had a suprisingly similar 2 year relationship and believe me when a girl who has been good for the majority of your time with her all of a sudden cheats or lies, it really stays with you, good luck with that.

that sh!t hurts, i know how it feels. it would take me years to trust her again.
i can't really give any advice to you, you gotta kinda follow your heart and brain at the same time. and every sitiuation is diff

I decided a while ago to break up with her but first I need to get that $500 bucks back that I leant to her for a drama class thing... ohh well maybe we'll be friends but not if she stays the way she is.

Wow man you should really come around here. There's this town about 2 miles from where i live at, and it's literally flooded with integras and civics. Everyone is SO eager to race. My bro took me out for a test drive in my 95 3kgt. The very first day an 85+ honda civic with a loud muffler lined up next to us revin. Those kids really have heart i give em that much :) lol my bro left him! So i'm pretty sure i can get some races around here when i'm ready. Srry to hear about ur grl man. I totally agree with young, that really hurts, but with time you'll get over it. That empty feeling sux ... but u'll be fine. Love is giving someone the power to destroy you, but trusting them not to ...

Thourun, sorry to hear about your girl man. Hope everything works out...whether you guys stay together or not. But hey, if you guys don't, then sell your GT to her dad at a HIGH price and call it even. LOL

Well on my way home from work, I was going to my buddy's house to pick up a video and while entering the freeway, this Mustang pulled up next to me and took off. I wasn't trying to race the guy because there was hella traffic but damn, those cars are QUICK!!! He like just took off and I'm like "uh...nice!!!" :biggrin: Don't know what year or type it was though because it was too dark. :o/

I'll tell you all when I get back how it went and if I got in my frist race yet.

No we planned a while ago to go see warped tour, I have thought about it for a while and have come to my conclusion, she has a cheating heart and even if I stay with her I think she'll do it again. She needs somone who lives near her, which is not me. Trouble is I'm real good friends with all her friends now so I am loosing alot of friends too.

Oh ok...well, good luck with everything. And don't trip about the whole friend deal. You could still be friends with them unless if they have to "choose sides" (which would be stupid).

Haha, no they're all more mature than that, (but most of them side with me in that she changed for the worst). The problem is distance, i'm willing to drive two hours to spend a weekend with her but dunno about all the friends, definately not every two weeks like I have done for the past two years.

Yea well it used to be more because I took the train and planes and then had to take another train out to her town from NYC. That was expensive! I should have just bought a VR4 then adn saved the money lol, but I couldent drive when I started dating her so. I'm here now watchin tbv and playing with her dog, talk to you guys later.

Yea, I'm allready over her I guess, I don't realy want to be back with her... It's like it's been over for a year, thats when she started changing. Anyways today was cool, hung out with this guy from jersy who liked cars too. I hope I get a real race going home on monday, all I got on the way here was cat and mouse with a 350Z for 200 miles (which is fun but not realy racing). Hope the show tomorow is better than last year.

Well I'm back and no races for the entire 250 miles.... :angryfire:. I broke up with her and got my money back (although she dosent know it yet...), she was a real bitch at warped tour even though I payed for her drinks and got on my hands and knees in the pit because she lost the ring that the dude she cheated on me with gave her (I seriously considered saying I didn't find it and just keeping it once I found it).... I did get my car up to 130 though wich was fun, I was surprised it was only at 5000 rpm.

How'd you get your money back without her knowing? She still had a ring that the guy gave her? Damn, that's whacked!

haha thourun i know how u feel with no one to race im in a place flooded with ricers.and when u beat the fastest one with a 6 1/2 inch tip muffler whos left?no one cuz they know not to fuck wit u.but it was funny i was driving at like 100 the other day on i-79 and this kid i know in his 03si civic does a slow flyby and im like no way so i hit it and i just fly by him and he calls me and is like wtf how fast are u goin im like in in fourth doing 130 lol hes like damn.

Theres not even many ricers here! I would be happy to race anything! I was jsut at the hospital to get blood work done and on the way back a dude on a BMW bike wanted to go but my mom was in the car and she freaked about me going over 80, plus it was a bike lol never would have won that one.
