Hi, I have a 94 accord with squeekkks...

It happens in the front (the right front is worse) whenever I go through a speedbump or a dip on the road pretty fast...
Also, I hear a soft knocking sound in the front if i go through an uneven road surface..but it happens intermittenly so I can't tell why.

right now I have Sprint Extreme RX (the site says it should lower 3.25" front and 3" rear) with brand new Koni yellows. I have front + rear strut bars and sway bars. The wheel is 18x7.5 with 35 profile tires. No camber kits.

Anyone can help ????

sounds like it's just the spring hitting the top of the collar. you can pull the springs back off and insert a large rubber gromet in between the spring and the collar and the noise will stop.

It can be lots of stuff but normally, when it makes a queek-queek, it's a bushing problem, especially if you dropped it for a while.

beastfromeast...

do you mean that I have to change the bushings or can I just lubricate it ?

thx

Well, u see, if u can lubricate them, there is a problem 'cause the regular bushing is oil treatened when designed. U can do it but it won't last. Otherwise, u can change it for urethane bushing.

If u plan to upgrade your rides as hell, go for a complete set. If not, just replace the four principal bushings, two on each side.

By the way, if ur not very equipped, don't do it by yourself, it don't worth the cost.

Peace y'all, Raph...

also the cracking noise can come from a messed up tierod. i know cause i had the problem. at first it sounded like it was the suspension and then when i tried to check the wheel for play i found out that i had excessive play. I replaced the tirod and all the noises dissapeared. oh btw i had the squeaky sound too.

'SSUP, even if it's the tierod, it's not that bad if you change it before it break. But I wish for u it's just the bushings

Peace y'all, Raph...

yeah, i know it doesn't hurt to change the tie rod early, I just need to save some moeny first for that.
I just spend big time on the sway bars & konis :)

anyway, anybody knows how much it cost to change the tie rod (w/ labor hehehe) ?

in the mean time, I'll have some rubber for the front spring to see if it'll stop the knocking and lube the bushings.

thx for all your help guys...
