Ok wait so if your check engine light is on. If you go to Auto zone how much will it cost for them to do a test on your car and do you just go in there and ask them.? Cause last time ive been to auto zone i didnt see any back garage or anything where they might do that.

YEP! They just bring out a handheld OBD-II scanner and do it for free (at least it's free around here). It only takes a minute or two.
