I have a 2000 Explorer and have been having problems with a low idle/stall. I located the IAC (with help from this board, thank you) cleaned it and it worked, no problems. Anyway I was going to purchase a new one and asked a guy at the autoparts store and he didn't know what I was talking about, is there another name for this part? He listed off a few names off the computer ending in something, something sensor but wasn't sure which one he meant and I didn't have the IAC with me, any help would be appreciated. Thanks alot.

it is under the plastic cover on top of the motor that says (ie) 4.0 liter sohc it will be in the center of the intake it has like 2 or 3 bolts that hold the plastic cover down and something like to bolts that hold the iac on (a haynes repair manual will show you just what you need to do.)
