whats the max safe HP and TQ the automatic transmission can take for my 96 S14 SE?

Not a whole lot. But I guess it really depends on what condition. A guy on one of the other forums said that his transmission was slipping on the dyno at 200 or so hp and torque. Don't take this as a set limit, but I wouldn't use the auto if you want to make more than say 220hp and torque.
Is that a ten second car SR20DET?lol

build the tranny and get a torque converter. It helps keeps the tranny from slipping at higher hp and torque. Even though I'm comparing apples and oranges, my friend did that with his supercharged mustang and it helped a lot.
