I have read every post on this site looking to find where the factory Keypad code is for the 2002 explorer sport! I see every other model! Does anyone know where to find the code on the sport 2 dr model?

Yesterday I bought a 2002 Explorer without a keypad factory number. My dealer's partsman asked two of his techs about where to find the module and numbers. They told him that in the later models, the numbers are not on the module (as the owner's manual states). The service manager hooked up his computer and retreived the factory 5 digit code. No charge.

The partsman 'thought' the module was behind the passenger headlight. But this does not look right to me. All I see is an aircleaner.

That's about all I know on the subject.
