What type of distributor?

I have a dumb question for all of you....what type of distributor does my 98 Burb have? Electronic or cap and rotor? (I have a 98 5.7 4WD Burb) Hubby has looked in the owners manual and Chiltons and can't find out which one ours has...stumped.

I believe it uses a DIS (Distributorless Ignition System). It's an all-in-one unit that also includes the coil.

You should have a cap and rotor on your 98 and the coil is a seperate unit. The cap itself is a little different in that the places to plug the spark plug wires in are horizontal and you plug the spark plug wires from the drivers side into the drivers side of the distributor cap
