legal fairlady in canada?DeleriousZ 07-28-2004, 10:55 PM guys check this out and tell me what you think... http://www.canadatrader.com/trader/result/affich.asp?rubno=4000&r=%27SAS%27&ste=&sid=&issr=1&yfr=1990&yto=0&kfr=0&kto=0&pfr=0&pto=0&dm=1&dp=4&mk=NISSAN&md=300+ZX&kw=&or=0&oby=7&pg=1&vid=1483379 yeah i dunno how true that sounds, but still... 2+2 tt in immaculate shape... if only i wasn't poor neogenesis 07-28-2004, 11:06 PM If it was a Fairlady Z and stock it should have 280HP right? But other then that it looks like a good buy. ZedEx 07-28-2004, 11:33 PM It's not legal... It's the 15 year rule in Canada... That thing still has a few months before it is legal. They are only importing 1989's currently... Dont stress that add, it seems sketch. Just wait until 2014 and you can have your own Twin Turbo 2+2 for next to nothing... Cant wait. (Its the 25 year rule in America...) -Wes k3smostwanted 07-29-2004, 04:05 AM how exactly does that rule work for america? after 25 years u can have any car shipped from japan and u dont have to pay for all the legalization and shit or is there more to it? ZedEx 07-29-2004, 07:35 AM Basically... No papers, De-Registration, nothing is neccesary. This is how my mothers friend got one of the FIRST Fairladies. RHD, convertable, beautiful car. I was going to import a 1970 PCG10 Skyline, but I dont have the time to do the restoration work on her... O well, 2014 isnt all that far off... -Wes DeleriousZ 07-29-2004, 03:34 PM i see.. how tough would it be to keep an illegal import in Canada? i'm guessing it would have something to do with driving around uninsured? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
