It is AWESOME!!! he can switch songs (in music file only) and control the volume w/ his Steering wheel contols very cool!!! The sound is outstanding. I have an E36 I have my MP3 player hooked up through the cd changer cable w/ an Alpine cd changer (via blitzsafe adapter). I had to sell the factory changer for this to work but the sound quality by far beats the FM transmitters and cassette adapters!!! lencal76 08-04-2004, 12:42 PM Actually I called my BMW dealer. The part department said that it was too new and everything is back ordered. They requested me to call me in two week. The part quote is $155-165, doesn't include labor though. Will try to finalize it later ehalusic 08-04-2004, 03:06 PM I have a friend who did this to his BMW it cost him 150.00 at the dealer.... I have a '95 325, I was dissapointed when i saw the ipod connectors were only for the newer ones. I would love to get rid of the cassette adapter i am using now. I have a factory cd changer in my car but never use it because of my ipod. Thanks! 98328i 08-05-2004, 03:14 PM How did you say you hooked it up through the cd changer?
