Greetings! I am new to the group and new to owning a 4Runner. I purchased a 1996 4Runner 4WD SR5 about two weeks ago. The 4Runner has been in Tashkent, Uzbekistan for the last three years (where I will be stationed for the next two years) and it needs a bit of a tune up.

I want to really upgrade the plugs, wires, and shocks in particular. Any recommendations? I found some Bilstein shocks on the net that got rave reviews, MSD wires seem to be pretty good as well, and I saw some other reviews about some NGK plugs.

I would appreciate any insights and/or part numbers and/or places to order from. It is too expensive to use the phone so online orders would be best. Thanks for the assistance,

Uzman

Go to www.gadgetonline.com. I don't know too much, but he has some pretty good right ups. Also, he has a link to his URD company, which sells stuff pretty cheap. I told someone else on this forum to try him for O2 sensors because that's where I'm getting mine. He also sells spark plugs too (NGK), but I went to the dealer for mine. I think with plugs, you should go stock because that's what came with the truck.
