well..today after comming back from getting some groceries....i was comming down flagler ...this prelude 2.0 Si pulls up to me...i was minding my own business in my supra '88 n/a automatic...
so...he revs..and well..i was waiting for a race for a long time so sinc ei can't rev i just looked at him...gving him the ok..and from a roll of 20MPh we floor it...as i was approaching 7K rpms...i heard him hit second in his manual ......his fartcan was loud...so i guess he was in the middle of second when my atx hit second....he at that time we were side to side....adrenaline pumping like crazy....he hits 3rd and goes a little ahead of me...then i hit third and he was history...then fourth and i had 2 car lenghts on him...and welll....there was a red light...he then pull up next to me and he wouldn't look at me but he was revving....i thought it was enough suffering for his little 2.0....and i wanted to give my i6 3.0 a rest so i didn't go again....he got pissed and drove off

well...just because my car doesn't have the greatest paint job...and there are a few dents here and there..doesn't mean it doesn have the heart of a supra....poor guy...i bet he won't be telling this one tonite

very slow in my experience, next time try ur luck against a 4th or 5th gen prelude, the SI would porlly be a good race(4th gen) and teh vtec 4th and 5th gen would both prolly rape you. not to mention the integra type r, rsx, or civic si. btw seen a civic SI with some small mods(great driver) take down a 87 supra Turbo stock (decent driver) by bout 2 cars. both manual.
Good Kill Btw

Nice kill. You can't rev, is that what you said? Can't you break-torque it (keep on the brake, but prod the gass)? Does that not work?

And is your car stock? Either way, nice kill.

I don't think that works to well while moving...

yes, indeed, my car is stock...and as knorwj said...kinda hard..i will actually lose speed....
also...i know it wasn't a 4th or 5th gen car...but come on...to be such a heavy car i think i did pretty good..

i think he meant that if the race started from a stop and not a roll, which it didnt, but he meant brake torque from a stop

i have been with my friend's crx si with a short ram and we beat an n/a AT supra 90 white by like a fender to 90......
