Two of my friends were riding with me, and we met up with 4 other friends in 2 diffrent cars. So to get this straight there were 3 cars and 7 passengers in all. It was mine (90 mustang), a 95' v-6 and a 03' v-6. We get on 316 to head to Atlanta and I see a Impreza WRX just crusing down the road so i pull up next to him and rev it. He just looks over a shakes his head no. So i back off a little bit and then he gives me the thumbs down sign. So i'm pissed and speed back up to see if he wants to go now. Then he goes "Man, you know there are hella cops on this road". (BTW: This is a highway and no cops are EVER on this road). "What do u run in the quarter mile". He asks. Then i asked my friend what he said and he proceeded to tell me but right before i told the guy in the Subaru he goes "What the fuck did u run in the quarter-mile asshole?", and guns it. So i'm like ok. And we all pass him with the bird.

Then merging on to I-85 i see this V-6 Camaro that thinks he's hot shit. He had dual exhaust with a SS hood, wheels, and no badging. I came up to him and looked over. He got the idea. We get on to 85 and i try and toy with him but the asshole wont gun it. Then i stop messing with him and go on, and he comes FLYING by and i try to catch up. Finally when i get about 20 feet from him he hits he brake lights and gives me a thumbs down. So i'm pissed now and just leave him be. Then all the sudden here he comes again trying to do a ricer fly-by and my friend yells "Here he comes, gun it!". And i did. I left his ass bad and then my friends came up behind me later and said the guy had took a exit after that.

We soon got to the races and i really didnt wanna run my car this time so i sat there. The cops eventually got called and we headed up toward another spot. On the way there we saw a newer Acura Intergra v-tech. My freind in the 03' mustang started messing with him. They stoped at a redlight and so did alot of other cars. We had a 6 way race going on. The Integra, a Civic, me and my 2 friends, and some other car behind me. The light turned green and all cars took off some spinning. The Civic was beside me through 1st gear and i hit 2nd a left him enough to pass the Integra and 03' Mustang. So i just got infront of everybody a left em'. So between that race i came in first, 2nd was the 03', 3rd was the Integra, 4th the Civic, 5th the 95' Mustang, and 6th was the other ricey looking car (dont know what it was).

We got to the other place and there was cops already there so we headed back to the other spot to see if anybody had came back yet. Nobody was there, empty as ever. So me and the 03' ended up doing a little 1st and 2nd drag. I got him by about 1 car length at the end of 2nd. I come back to see my friend that got lost here and everybody just standing around looking pissed. So i ask what happend. The guy in the 95' Mustang did a donut a hit a slope in the road and it took the wheel right off the tire. Dumbass........ so we had to drive like 50mph all the way home. Pissed..............the night ended like shit.....but it was fun to begin with.

I miss cruising around, I need to get my car put back together. I had to chase down some nasty little wire. took the whole inside apart.

I was just thinking the same thing. I get a lot of LS1 F-bodies trying to race me all the time...I don't even bother anymore because I stand no chance. I don't even see the point of challenging someone that you know you're going to beat that badly. Different story of course if they challenge you. :iceslolan

Well actually the people i race ARE in my own league. I raced my car and ran a 15.1. Its stock. I dont have a Ferrari, i have a low 15 second car. Alot of cars today that are half the displacement of mine wil beat me.

oh sorry it took so long to answer. The "Hemi" trucks are really not that fast. I think he ran a 16.3 or something when i race him. He was about a good 7-8 cars back. I guess its not bad for a truck. But its still pretty expensive.

Hemi rams are slow and the owners think they are fast as hell

I've seen a Hemi Ram run a 15.1 at the track against my buddy's 1987 5.0. The mustang only beat it by about two tenths. Was a shitty run for the upgraded stang tho.

Hemi trucks suck. I'm a Ford truck guy myself...not as quick as the competition, but reliable as hell. I'd take a slightly slower vehicle with a better ride and reliablity over a quick one when it comes to a truck!

Hey, you forgot about the Lightnings... oh which reminds me. Someone i was talking too up at the mall had a Lightning. He had a sticker on the back that said "here hemi, hemi, hemi... pretty funny.
