LOL. LMAO. im sorry dude, but that was really funny. no disrespect or anything, but that was pretty funny. Okay, first of all, an ecu (Engine Control Unit) is a computer that recieves and sends information by and to the engine and some of the engine components. It's not located in the Intake manifold. it's usually located inside the car by the passenger side's kickpanel. i wouldnt recommend u doing a swap. once again, no disrespect, u just need to know what u r doing before u perform an engine swap because alot of work and knowlegde is involved. go search the web 1st and look up information on how to do a swap/how an engine works/components of engines.... etc

Actuly many domestic cars do have the ECU located in the intake. not like u would think it has its own seperate compartment which u have to take off the intake to get to and to my knowledge if u got a older teg the ecu might b under the seat as is with many hondas n acuras

when you ask a question plz include the type of car you are talking about. for all i know you need to know where the ecu is for a 94 ford escort. but, i'm assuming that you are talking about integras? the ecu for an integra is located on the passenger side floor board. if you peel the carpet back where the front passenger puts their feet, there will be a metal panel held down by four screws. take these four screws off and there is the ecu. they should be 10 milimeter screws.
