The Most Exotic Supercar in the WorldAdam 05-22-2001, 04:29 PM The Zonda is [arguably]... the most exotic supercar in the world.. just take a look at this and you'll know why... http://zonda.hypermart.net/gallery/c12/28.jpg Exhaust cluster {jet pipe} http://zonda.hypermart.net/gallery/c12/14.jpg http://zonda.hypermart.net/gallery/c12/13.jpg http://zonda.hypermart.net/gallery/c12/15.jpg Adam 05-22-2001, 04:54 PM Anyone agree with me? Not many people now about this car. I'm trying to change that:D enzo@af 05-22-2001, 05:43 PM Noone knows about this car? I thought anyone who really cares about cars much knew about it. Huh. Maybe I was wrong. I, personally, know about it, but don't care for it much. Yeah, it's much much better than the paseo I drive now, but I wouldn't ever buy one. Maybe if they changed the body to look like something other than the Aztek equivalent of a sportscar I'd reconsider. Adam 05-22-2001, 09:56 PM i must say you are the first person that I have EVER heard that didn't even care for the Zonda... Aztek equivalent!!! phew...wow... I will never know how they are similiar.... BTW. Noone does know about his car... only people who read Road and Track and a few who read the article in the back of Car and Driver... enzo@af 05-22-2001, 11:38 PM I just don't personally find the styling to be...well...attractive. Too many loose jagged edges, headlights seem out of place, the "jet" thing is hideous, IMO. johnny 05-23-2001, 01:50 AM Adam, wait until you play GT3! The Zonda looks oh so nice! Especially the ones that are all raced-out. They're the ish! GT3, july 10. Be there, or die! DVSNCYNIKL 05-23-2001, 09:18 AM Probably not considered an exot. But in my book, it is up there with great distinction. I just love the all around look. Of course I'll take the hard top. http://supercarstats.hypermart.net/car/concept-stats/visionslr.shtml MB Forever!! enzo@af 05-23-2001, 11:25 AM Uuhhh...Devious? You do know that this thread is about the Zonda, right...not the SLR? Racer 20 05-23-2001, 04:14 PM The Zonda is a very awesome car. I love it. It is the shit. I got to see a C12S in really life. It rocks. The interior is kinda of funky but it rocks. Sounds really nice too. Words can't discribe it. But I still think the McLaren F1 is still the most exotic car. And I won't change my mind until I see the F60 and all of the other new guys. ;) i_rebel 05-23-2001, 04:21 PM It's a nice car . . . MOST exotic . . . I dunno about that. The exhaust is horrendous . . . gotta agree with Enzo on that one . . . I think the Mclaren is one of THE most exotic . . . ditto the Vector offerings . . . any of them . . . Adam 05-23-2001, 05:19 PM I call it more exotic than the McLaren F1 because it is more unique, and much more weird. Exotic = all sorts of unique and interesting looks, and to me, the McLaren F1 looks like many other supercars.... but then again, all supercars do look like a teardrop DVSNCYNIKL 05-23-2001, 05:20 PM Originally posted by enzo@af Uuhhh...Devious? You do know that this thread is about the Zonda, right...not the SLR? OOps!! My bad! Sorry for jacking the post! Zonda's okay. Adam 05-23-2001, 05:28 PM i'm don't care for the Zonda's rear..looks kinda weird... but I LOVE every other part.. check out this pix JD@af 05-23-2001, 07:31 PM I do love the Zonda as well. I thought it was the bomb, and perhaps my favorite exotic as well, until I discovered the Koenigsegg CC. I think this is #1 on my list now, above the Zonda and the all-mighty McLaren F1. And hey, with the attractive base price of $268,674 (U.S. dollars), I might be driving one soon... (yeah right - I just like kidding myself). Adam 05-25-2001, 02:49 PM yeah, unfortuneately, the CC beats the Zonda performance-wise in every aspect -- including price!!! But I do love the Zonda very very much... as you can see by PaganiZonda.com.... http://zonda.hypermart.net/gallery/c12/11.jpg http://zonda.hypermart.net/gallery/c12/1.jpg And this makes you actually begin to appreciate the rear. At first it's Aztek - like and shocking, but then you realise it isn't at all, and it is actually beautifullllll.. check it...: Adam 05-25-2001, 02:51 PM actually, here's the pix enzo@af 05-26-2001, 01:42 AM I don't like the split spoiler thing. Jay! 05-26-2001, 02:42 AM It's a good thing you put "in the World," because the Lunar Rover is totally more exotic, but it's stuck up on the moon. johnny 05-26-2001, 05:26 AM Let's see some pics of the CC flylwsi 05-26-2001, 09:05 AM http://www.supercarcentral.com/index.php?action=carmain&carselect=cc this is the car... also, try to find the pics of the zonda in carbon fiber... it is an unfinished cf body...that is sweet... it is on www.overboost.com from the japanese auto show... old feature... sweet shit Chris 05-27-2001, 04:20 PM I like this car quite a bit. To me, not thee (I meant for there to be 2 e's) most exotic car in the world. I like those pics, I have never seen them before, and it lets me see the car better. It is awesome. I like the exhaust, (a la GT90), and everything else. I would probably take it over the CC, it is more exotic (to me), better looking, and the interior is the tits!! I would love one, and there are only 20 or so made a year. It was actually made in memory of Fangio (yes, thee Fangio). I feel they pulled it off brilliantly. I think its great that a small company can produce an awesome car, and not go bankrupt after 48 hours. Without the 155mph speed limiter (a result of the mercedes engine), it would be awesome. And the 6-speed was made by Pagani, and is apparently very nice, perfect for the engine. I would rather have this than a much more common (sic) Diablo or 550 or Konissegg CC. Chris 05-27-2001, 04:28 PM Besides, the Koenigsegg CC has a FORD V8!! Uhhgg. HEre are some pics of it: http://209.132.49.149/images-large/2000_koenigsegg_cc-1.jpg http://209.132.49.149/images-large/2000_koenigsegg_cc-6.jpg http://209.132.49.149/images-large/2000_koenigsegg_cc-4.jpg Here are some more of the Zonda. http://209.132.49.149/images-large/1999_pagani_zonda_c12-s-5.jpg http://209.132.49.149/images-large/1999_pagani_zonda_c12-s-6.jpg http://209.132.49.149/images-large/1999_pagani_zonda_c12-s-7.jpg Chris 05-27-2001, 04:33 PM Heres some more: http://www.supercars.net/userpics/main/cars/1999_Pagani_Zonda%20C12-S/1999_Pagani_Zonda%20C12-S11.jpg http://www.supercars.net/userpics/main/cars/1999_Pagani_Zonda%20C12-S/1999_Pagani_Zonda%20C12-S13.jpg And check out those rear tires, 345/35ZR18's, massive. And it weighs only 2756 pounds, with 14 inch discs. Those sort of things push my hot button. johnny 05-28-2001, 12:22 AM I still like the Pagani better.... Nice sig, Chris, where did you get it from? Chris 05-28-2001, 09:09 AM I'm not sure. It was probably form a magazine, the TV, or maybe I made it up. I'll think a bit harder, but proably to no avail. Adam 05-28-2001, 03:14 PM I love meeting more Zonda lovers... check PaganiZonda.com for more GREAT pix... soon being updated w/ 70 (that IS right... 70!!!) more pictures... for a total of almost 200 pictures!!! WOW!!!!! johnny 05-28-2001, 07:02 PM Seriously. I'm gonna make the Pagani one of my main cars in GT3 Adam 05-29-2001, 03:36 PM I don't have any kind of Playstation :( Jay! 05-29-2001, 05:05 PM [gasp!]:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: You poor thing! Hmm? Is a PSX worth it for just GT/GT2? You can get a PSOne for $99, and both Gran Turismo and GT2 are "Greatest Hits," so they're each only $20. Or maybe you could find them used for less. So, $120 for Gran Turismo? But the Zonda isn't in GT or GT2! You'll need a PS2 ($300) and GT3, when it comes out ($60) Wow! $360 to drive a simulated Zonda. But you say you love 'em, right? Better save your pocket change! Chris 05-29-2001, 06:41 PM Wheres that guy whos name is something to do with Pagani-Zondas (he built Pagani-Zonda.com). He would have something to say. Ill check for his name. Chris 05-29-2001, 06:46 PM Unless thats you, Adam. I can't remember. 'sigh' Adam 05-29-2001, 10:21 PM i am 'that guy'... what a dissapointment eh? Jay! 05-30-2001, 02:22 AM So, Adam, you gonna drop $360 to drive a computer Zonda? Chris 05-30-2001, 09:15 AM The sad thing is that I couldn't remember. Did you get my definitions?? Adam 05-30-2001, 03:23 PM yes I did... I'm working on all your ERRORS!!! such as the earth being millions of years old...lol... I was gonna put thousands but people wouldn't like that, so I just put 'many'... and I am making everything sound much more professional...IF I can... but you get all credit :D Thanx No... 360 is too much... I could by sooo many Guitar stuff and car models... such as the Zonda if I ever find one (which I won't).. Do they make GT3 for the computer...? Chris 05-31-2001, 08:52 AM yah, some of them are pretty rough. Others were kinda insulting (the use of 'duh' and such) I have added more to my list at home. I should put them on in the same thread on the weekend, aswell as some modified versions of the originals. Adam 05-31-2001, 09:22 PM ah yes... about that.. thank you SOO much, but PLEASE wait a bit b4 anything new.. I am having SOOO much trouble trying already to fix them :D Chris 06-01-2001, 08:21 AM I have about 10 more definitions, but more on the way. Alto of the new ones I'm making now are more and more detailed. Adam 06-01-2001, 05:00 PM AHHHH!!! please wait tho... but still thanx very much.. but that's a lot to take in...:D Chris 06-01-2001, 06:10 PM No kidding! But it is kinda fun, but so far I hav espent abou t4 hours on all those definitions. Adam 06-02-2001, 02:34 PM t4? Chris 06-02-2001, 07:13 PM abou t4 hours It should have read "about 4 hours" Sometimes I push space before I finish a word. ITs a side effect of ADHD and 30 wpm. Adam 06-06-2001, 04:24 PM i .. i should have realized that... ADHD? i don't think so 30 wpm? I don't think so, unless that is the fastest you type sometimes I do things like thsi Chris 06-07-2001, 09:49 AM My peak is 30 wpm. I usually do about 15, unless I am thinking really fast. And I do have ADHD, which means I can be hyper and try to do everything really fst. But I've outgrown it, mostly. Adam 06-08-2001, 01:34 PM o ki understan dwha tyo umea n Chris 06-08-2001, 06:58 PM That sgoodt ok now,e h?
