What do you think about the price? It seems all I ever heard was UNDER 30K UNDER 30K now with 32k.....its gunna be 35-38k after dealer markup and taxes

follow the link to the website and read the little blurb about the Evo VII. it tells WHEN it's coming out (Jan 2003), and it tells you HOW MUCH ($25-30 grand). why even post on here if you're not going to read the link?!?!?!?

and everyone else, did you see that Dodge Neon SRT-4? 0-60 in 5.9 sec. for under $20K? the things ugly as hell though. but this means three things: a lot of highschool kids will be driving these fast machines, a lot of highschool kids will be wrecking these fast machines, and there's going to be some kid out there stupid enough to tune the thing faster than the Evo. that'll suck, getting beat by a Neon!

What about that viper? that thing was insane, i cant believe the body on it...carbon fiber adjustable lip and the three different engine type, each 150 hp apart think if i remember right.

I can't beleive we are only getting around 250hp on the US Evo, thats fucking bullshit. 26hp less than the "Real Evo"...that sux.

i was thinking of banging out at least one of the cats and putting on a boost controller to start. at least that way I'll be getting SOME of the power back, if not most of it

i'd bet by mid-2003 there will be turbo-back exhaust systems for the Evo with hi-flow cats. my friend got an MRT one for his WRX (1.5" up to 3") and it gives the car 30 more HP at the wheels!!! that'll give you plenty of horses, probably near the 276 HP. but i think MotorTrend reported that they'll still be lying about the HP rating even here in the US. so since 276 HP in japan is actually 300+, 250 HP in america could be near 276. this means we'd be getting the "real" Evo, lol. anyway, chip it up, boost controller and exhaust and you'll have the thing doing 0-60 in well under 5 seconds. the handlings the same, what more does one need?
