I have the dash apart and the heater box is loose but I cannot fiqure out how to get the core out of the box! Do I tilt the dash or is there some way to take the whole box out and replace? Any help would be great I have already replaced it by tilting the dash. I went out and bought a Chiltons book on it and found it no help at all. If I followed the book, I would have had to take off the right front fender, headlight assy, discharge the A/C system etc... If anybody has to replace one, DO NOT follow the Chiltons book. Tilt the dash.A whole lot easier! bobmga62 07-27-2004, 06:42 PM I just had mine replaced last week.. $500.00 with the part (the core is only $65.00) Figured some jobs you do your slef... some are why too much pain, and have done professionally.. this is one of hem!!! 98blkblazer 08-13-2004, 04:53 AM Shatar, I just tilted the dash at the end of yesterday, are there screws at the core cover? Is there a core cover? I ran short on time because I followed some directions for earlier years. Who knew it would change? That's how I found this site. Extra help is appreciated. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
