Im going to try to put a rockford fosgate 1001bd on my two MTX subwoofers (DVC) but the subs are 4 ohms each and the amp is rated at 500 watts x 1 @ 4 ohms..will this work with two 4 ohm subs on a mono amp? If so how should I go about wiring these? (inside the enclosure and out)

edit: this diagram will only hold true for 2 dvc 4 ohm subs if impedence is different the wiring may change.

here just found this on google. they tell you just about any combo you want. displayed are the 2 speaker setups, but at the bottom of the page is a listing for a number of other ways also.

Even though I'm sure these guys have already answered your question, this link gives diagrams on wiring multi-subs, etc. etc.

thanks alot guys this really helps...i got the amp today and from what you guys are showing me its wired up the wrong way...it sounds nice though...nice deep bass at low volumes...still got alot more work to do though
