i have a 94 civic ex, and im planning on getting a b18 or b16 swap. my question is, if i buy a CAI for my d16z6, will it fit on either of those engines once their in my car? and also, once i get the swap, should i get an intake that matches my car, the engine, or do they make intakes for cars w/ swaps?

its funny how people can take the time out to say search but just cant post the answer...it depends on the intake system...my boys 92 coupe used the same intake from his d15 to his b18c1 so yeah itll probably work intake wise...but for most other parts like lets say headers or anything else dealing with the MOTOR itself get parts for the motor not for the car

Intake manifold is different.

Intakes do not fit all engines, buy it for your engine.
