'96 ACCORD Aerodeck 2.0 ES
Need help!! Please help me with disabling the passanger airbag.

I want to place the baby-seat on the front seat (new born baby) and have to disable the airbag.
I was told to pull off the SRS fuse but there is no such a fuse on the fuse plan.

Is it wise to do it that way? Will there be the SRS-problem in future?

thanks in advance

Patryk

I did this for my 95 Accord sedan. There are companies who are licensed by NTSHA to do this. I would advise that you not mess with the system by pulling fuses. There might be federal or state law that require you to post a sticker that tells passengers that you've defeated the switch. I've done this in Texas and had to have a warning sticker placed on the inside of the door in plain view. Here's a link for you to see who is licensed by state:

This is assuming you are in the U.S.

thanks phoenixitc,

the problem is that I don't live in US. I'm from Poland and Honda Garages say thay are not allowed to do this. Could you tell me where the SRS fuse is placed?

all the best

Patryk
