I own a 95 DX, all stock, really starting to fall apart, and I'm totally car retarded. Just found out that my brake lights (all 3, both tailights and the rear window) are not coming on at all. Fuses ok. Bulbs ok. The sensor under the brake pad is attatched. Help! I'm afraid I'm really going to get taken for a ride and I am on a huge budget. Any ideas besides just going to a dealer? Thanks.

get ahold of a voltometer and find some wires that go to your brake lights, and test those, see if they are working, its probably going to be the wire that comes from the fuse box because i really doubt the 3 separate lights are gonna stop working from individual wires now working, because my basic understanding of this wire configuration would be like this

Light-----------|
Light-----------|----Fuse ---- Battery
Light-----------|

I own a 95 Civic Sedan and I seem to be having the opposite problem. When head lights are turned on, my brake lights turn on as well, when i step on the brakes it gets a little brighter but even when i dont press the brakes it still seems like the brakes are on.

If you can give me some tips or give me a site with a good wiring schematic that would help me out alot thanx

It's supposed to be like that. It's so cars behind will know you're there when you're driving at night.
