ok guys. i couple days ago my car has been idling high and abnormal but it is not a consistent high idle. sometimes it idles at 2000rpms sometimes a little over 1000 and then sometimes it is completely normal. does anyone have a clue on what it could be. the throttle is not sticking. oh yeah....when it is idling high i can throw it in to neutral and give a quick couple revs and it will fall back down to normal idle. anyone have any ideas?
i was thinking maybe throttle position sensor or maybe some sensor period...
thanks guys.

Maybe the ficd solenoid? maybe AAC?
I'd check those first. Sounds like one is sticking open or something. If it were the TPS, the engine would be running either rich or lean.
Maybe check the air regulator too (the thing with the bimetal strip that lets in more air when the car's cold)
Have you asked the ECU what's wrong?

thanks guys. regulator or aac could also be the reason for the very rough idle when the engine is cold and very cold-start( i mean will not start below 30 degrees).
