Thanks to this website! My brake lights are stuck on and through a previous post, I learned about this plastic piece that might be the problem. turns out, it was, ordered a new $3 pedal stopper and now just need to know where to stick it! any ideas? Thanks in advance!

It goes on the brake pedal arm near the point where it is mounted to the car. See the diagram: (it is labeled #7)
