When i turn on my heater or air condition the air is really stuffy. Where and how do you get to the air conditioning air filter?

I had a '98 LS before the '04 Maxx. To the best of my knowledge, neither have an in-cabin air filter.

Sounds like your system needs an air freshener sprayed into it. Maybe someone else can be more enlightening....

i have a 98 LS and they do have a filter but you will have to talk to the dealer but it might not help much to change it because somtimes water will condence on the ducting and cause mildew or mold i have the same problem but when i like drive with the air on and my window down so it doesn't bother me to much unless the windows are up and they never are unless its raining so i haven't done anything about it

Okay thanx guys. I live in Seattle so rain is kind of a problem here. Ill try on sunny day to just let it air out. I will also try to spray some air cleaner down in the fan before i drive next time.
