Miataracer 07-19-2004, 04:09 AM study up yourself, we don't like to spoon feed around here Kafziel 07-19-2004, 10:58 AM My wife drives a Protege5 (a yellow one, just like in the commercial). The handling and brakes are tighter - sometimes a little too tight. It's hard to drive on ice in the winter because the clutch and brakes are so sensitive and the steering is so touchy. She drives it like a little old lady, but when I borrow it I open it up a little. It can haul a little bit of ass, but no more than my civic. Plus, hers loses points for the teddy bears in the backseat and the power crystal hanging from the rearview mirror. : ) emerge 07-19-2004, 12:11 PM I hate threads like this. My ex-girlfriend had a protege. I drove it. I'm happy with my decision to buy a Civic. jameskersten 07-19-2004, 09:47 PM i have raced a few protege's and the new mazda3 and i can tell you i am happier with my civic. it wasnt much a race. so what civic are you trying to compare cuz my car isnt really an average civic. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
