Can you be a bit more specific as to what years of the vehicles you are talking about?

Also depends on what you mean by "which one will win." All 3 of these cars are good at specific things and not generally compared to each other. It would also be helpful to know if your talking about a V6 Accord or not.

Luxury: IS300 Accord Eclipse

Family, bigness: Accord IS300 Eclipse

Speed: Eclipse IS300 Accord

hmmm... searching up i found out the facts on the accord and it seems like the IS300 would take this one, from launch, and probably the entire race...

IS300, once a great buy and alternative too 3 Series BMWs for $30,000, has now fallen to the back of it's class in performance. It's interior and styling are better, but sorry the competetion has just gotten better while the IS300 has stayed the same. The Accord V6 on the other hand is a great car, quality build, room for 4 (5 if total comfort isn't an issue) and happends to be pretty fast. In this comparison it offers the best of both worlds, the comfort and build of the IS300 and speed of the Eclipse GST. The Accord in my opinion wins this comparison.

Well yea, If I had a choice between these car I would probably go with an Accord V6 LX givin a choice to buy one of these. The Leather interior feels pretty close to Acura's, the V6 is alot stronger then the IS300 (and the GST i think). And I love the Honda transmission, almost as smooth as BMW's. Finally the Honda will last longer then either of those two cars. The Accord just gets better and better while the IS300 is aging without Lexus/Toyota noticing and the GST actually is no longer made...

Accord has 240 HP 212 torque. IS300 215 hp and 218 torque. But shouldnt being a RWD give it an advantage?

Yeah, but they weigh basically the same, and the Accord has 25 more HP, plus I'd assume it has better gear-ratioing because it's a six-speed.

see, i have a 3000GT SL right now, and implanning on buying a car with style and speed. And i most likely will be adding a turbo into my next car. So im wondering, which one between the IS and Accord will work better with the turbo?

I'd say the IS 300. I've heard that turbo and VTEC don't work well together. Plus, the IS 300 is a much better platform to build on, since it's RWD.

IS300 engine+turbo= a luxo supra(with vvtc) that can outhandle many many cars. if that's your intent, go for it. but if you're not gonna mod, the accord would be the best bet IMO.
