Ok Im looking at getting rid of my crappy heated springs and getting either these Neuspeed springs which do, I believe 2.25 front and 2.0rear or H&R springs which do 2.5 front and 2.3 rear so my question is I dont want to get into the situation Im in now with my stock tires rubbing fender almost and not being able to turn a lot and also down the line I want to make sure that 17s would clear as well.....by the way they ar on ebay for like $120 which is anothe rreason Im lookin at them its economial

I highly doubt you'll be able to go that low with 17's. And if you can you're most likely going to have the same problems you have now. I'd go with the "OE" springs that Neuspeed makes (i believe H&R makes some too, if not I know another company does); if you're going to get 17's. I'd suggest either getting springs that don't lower it that much or going with at most 16's.

well im selling my 17's. and im using them right now, im not sure what height there set at but im about 5 inches off th ground, my frame that is.

SO go with a pair that gives like a 1.7 drop?

which do you want more, the 17s or a 2 inch drop. because you could get the 17s and also get adjustable coilovers. but thatd be kind of expensive.

If your stock tires arn't rubbing with a 2.5" drop, 17's won't. You buy lower profile tires so that you have the same overall tire height as you did with 15's, just less sidewall.

If he's got stock wheels then he's got 14's on there now. And with the added 3"s he'll need some really low profile tires. My buddy had 17's on his '95 with Neuspeed OE (SofSport) springs that lower it .75" and he's only got maybe an inch to an inch and a half of wheelwell gap in there (i believe with 195/40's on there). I honestly don't see 17's an a 2.5" drop working well together but of course I could be wrong.

Well God knows when I ll get the 17s if ever but I still dont want my stock tires rubbing and hitting the fender well..plus if I ever get a body kit and still dont have rims then it would make up for the lack of true drop even with stock wheels so I think Imma get like a 1.5 or so inch drop spring

I had 17's on my 90 HB with H&R sport springs and i had to roll the front fenders. After that everything was fine. The H&R sports are the middle drop of their line. I think it's around 1.9
