Fujimi Toyota Corolla Levin TE 27. Build to resemble a 1:1 car my friend drove in the late 70's/early 80's...same basic color and rally flares, his had Minilites. This model is by Fujimi, and is pretty basic but builds into a good looking model with minimal effort...and at 1200 yen, the price is certainly right.

Paint is Tamiya Pearl Light Blue, rims are some old Aoshima's with the centers painted Alclad Magnesium. Alclad Magnesium also used on some exterior trim, such as grille, taillight panel, door handles, vents...just like the gray metallic trim seen on the Japanese cars of that era.

COOL! Finally, a TE27, isn't this the first one? Or am I just lost? The paint is superb and that color is soo close to matching the paint of my AE86. Lets see some more of these old school Corollas.

Tonio, I really don't remember seeing yours until just now. oh well. They're both superb builds. Now go build an AE86 with full 4agze detail!

Sharp looking model, Robert. I'm glad to see you building and arent just recycling older builds (but the Porsche with the Modena wheels does look good).

Thanks for all the comments! :)

Tonio, thanks for showing off your TE 27 too! Bring it to Atlanta, we've got plenty of room on the tables! (Also bring Ferraris/Mustangs if you have any, those are our themes).

Looks really good!

I've seen that color on a couple cars now, and I've liked it on each one. I'll have to pick some up.

The wheels and tailights look especially nice. :)
