Finished 1st Model! [Fujimi ITR]itchya 07-16-2004, 07:40 PM Wohoo! I'm finally finished my first model! It took around a month and I thought it was pretty fun to make. Anyway, this is a Fujimi Integra Type R in Tamiya's "Racing WHite" with stock gunmetal rims. The carbon fibre hood, wing, and lip was done using mesh (the ones that are used in screen doors). Originally the wing was supposed to be white but I forgot to glue it on and by the time I was done painting the body, there was no more white left. I thought that priming and lowering the car were the hardest things to do. The front left wheel still sticks out a little and the entire bottom was sacrificed because the lowering job totally screwed it up hehe. Overall I think that I did a decent job...hopefully I'll have the time (and money!) to do another model soon. btw, I have to thank the people of the AF car modeling forum for helping me throughout my entire build! Couldn't have done it without you guys. Any comments would be great! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v389/itchya/front.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v389/itchya/rear.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v389/itchya/int.jpg jswillmon 07-16-2004, 08:14 PM looks good. Did you print the CF decals or or the supposed to be for a larger scale car? The patern seems kind of large. Other than that very clean build. Slo_Snipe 07-18-2004, 04:11 AM Next time you could try smaller mesh to make CF..something like the mesh that comes with tamiya rally car models. Have fun. ShOrtyOC714 07-18-2004, 04:26 AM Very Clean for first model. Camber 07-18-2004, 12:17 PM That looks really good for a first model. Cf's not perfect but hey, what's the big deal.
