Wohoo! I'm finally finished my first model! It took around a month and I thought it was pretty fun to make. Anyway, this is a Fujimi Integra Type R in Tamiya's "Racing WHite" with stock gunmetal rims. The carbon fibre hood, wing, and lip was done using mesh (the ones that are used in screen doors). Originally the wing was supposed to be white but I forgot to glue it on and by the time I was done painting the body, there was no more white left. I thought that priming and lowering the car were the hardest things to do. The front left wheel still sticks out a little and the entire bottom was sacrificed because the lowering job totally screwed it up hehe. Overall I think that I did a decent job...hopefully I'll have the time (and money!) to do another model soon.

btw, I have to thank the people of the AF car modeling forum for helping me throughout my entire build! Couldn't have done it without you guys.

Any comments would be great!

looks good. Did you print the CF decals or or the supposed to be for a larger scale car? The patern seems kind of large. Other than that very clean build.

looks really good for a first build!! One thing though...the panel lines are a bit harsh. On a white car go with a gray color panel lines.

superb build for a first model!

you've got some serious talent.

next time, try using a smaller mesh, use a smaller gundam pen...

otherwise it looks supercool!

I wish my first model looked 1/10th as good! Great model, I can imagine what the next ones will look like. Looks like you pay attention to what cars and what techniques appeal to you.

My first models were brush painted glue bombs  :disappoin

For a first model it looks great. With some more practice you'll be one of the best builders from AF I think.

Next time you could try smaller mesh to make CF..something like the mesh that comes with tamiya rally car models. Have fun.

although the panel lines are a bit dark, and the CF thing, it looks really good! I think you did a great job on the rubbers, very clean.
